Robert Nogami, RN, MS
Director of Nursing
Robert received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. For several years he worked as a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical and Orthopedic departments at Kuakini Medical Center. Robert served as Director of Nursing at Hale Ola Kino, the Health Center at One Kalakaua Senior Living, before joining Manoa Senior Care. Robert has been with Manoa Senior Care since 1999.
Jennie Gamage, RN
Assistant Director of Nursing
Jennie received her nursing degree from Western Kentucky University and has extensive experience in nursing ranging over 34 years. She spent 19 of them at St. Francis Medical Center and the St. Francis Home Hospice Program.  Her professional background also includes 15 years of critical care nursing and more than 10 years of management experience encompassing acute hospital management, hospice liaison and hospice management.
  Joee Malalis, RN
Assistant Director of Nursing
A Maryknoll graduate, Joee went on to receive a BS and MS in Nursing Administration from UH Manoa. She started her career as an oncology nurse at Queens, then moved on to work with the senior population as a nurse case manager. She spent the next 10 years working in the case management industry as the clinical and quality management team leader for an agency that managed over 300 residents in foster and expanded care homes.
  Aren LaVigne, RN
Nurse Recruiter
Upon completion of her nursing degree in Minnesota, Aren started her career as an RN at Manoa Senior Care. After leaving Hawaii she spent several years as a travel nurse, with assignments in Denver, Vail, South Carolina, Minneapolis, Seattle, and Alaska. She eventually settled back in Minnesota, where she currently works part-time at Unity Hospital in the Surgical Department.
Malia Boyd
Director of Community Relations
A native of Honolulu, Malia received a bachelor’s degree in English and Comparative Literary Studies from Occidental College in Los Angeles and a master’s degree in Journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York. Before coming to Manoa Senior Care, Malia worked as a magazine journalist, a senior salesperson in the pharmaceutical industry, and a marketing consultant.
Marsha Murai
Office Manager
Marsha has been with Manoa Senior Care since August of 2001. In her role as Office Manager, she oversees employee benefits and payroll, and is in charge of facilities management and food service in the Care Homes. For Manoa Senior Care’s Home Care division, Marsha is responsible for client bill payment services.
Paul M. Dold
Born and raised in Minnesota, Paul first came to the islands when he attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa and received his bachelor’s degree. After going back to Minnesota and obtaining a law degree from the William Mitchell College of Law, Paul returned to Hawaii and began his law practice. Paul established Manoa Senior Care in 1994 with one Adult Residential Care Home in East Oahu. Today, Manoa Senior Care is comprised of eleven care homes located in Manoa and Kaimuki.
