Care Homes

Custom-Built for Peace of Mind

If your own home is not retrofitted to address aging needs and safety challenges, there are options. All 11 Manoa Senior Care homes are architecturally-designed for safety and comfort.

Modern + Traditional

High ceilings, large windows and classic furnishings set Manoa Senior Care apart. Each resident has their own private bedroom and adjoining full bathroom located on the first floor. The spacious living and dining areas are comfortable and easily accessible, for privacy or therapeutic activities and socializing. The same-level porches provide sun and fresh air without leaving the house.

We Make Caring Personal

Two live-in nurses and a staff of four nurse aides provide 24-hour care for eight residents. The ratio of staff-to-resident assures personal, attentive care. Fresh-cooked meals are planned for individual nutritional needs. Transportation to doctor appointments, medication management and personal care are tailored for each resident.

Yes, they are all fully wheelchair accessible.

What is your range of care?

Do you accept Medicare, Medicaid or other forms of government assistance?

No, Manoa Senior Care is a private pay facility only.

Do you accept long-term care insurance?

Yes. Private long term care insurance will often assist in covering the monthly rate; however please check with your agent about eligibility requirements.

What is your admissions process?

The first step is a tour of one of our homes. If there is an opening, the next step would be a physical assessment by our Director of Nursing, after which the family would be presented with a monthly cost. If the figure is suitable to them, they will schedule and execute a contract signing. All residents must have completed a two-step TB test within the past 12 months and a physical exam within the last three months before move-in. If we do not have an opening at the time of your tour, you may choose to be placed on our wait list.

Do you take patients with dementia?

Yes, we accept residents based on their care needs, not their diagnoses.

What is your visitation policy?

Visitors are welcome at any time. Since our doors are locked after 7pm, we ask that loved ones call if they are planning a visit after that time. Residents may also take outings with loved ones whenever they like.
